General Nurse – Glasgow, Scotland

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, progress, and symptoms.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Proven experience working as a General Nurse, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• PVG Certificate would be an advantage
