Job Title :   Teaching Assistant

Location : Baston House School, Bromley, Kent BR2 7AB

Salary :     £23,500 per annum ( not pro rata )

Hours :      37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Contract : Permanent, Term Time Only

Start :        October 2025

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our pupils with Autism and additional needs, helping them to achieve their potential. Your responsibilities will include :

• Preparing learning materials and resources
• Supporting and running engaging classroom activities
• Meeting pupils’ emotional and physical needs
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal development
• Contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking individuals who are calm, resilient, and genuinely motivated to make a difference in the lives of children and young people. Previous experience working with SEN / ASC pupils is desirable, but the right attitude, personal qualities, and commitment to our vision are just as important.

Baston House is an independent day specialist provider of education and care for young people and adults aged 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autism (ASC).
