Your new company My client is a leading wealth management business, overseeing over £100 billion in customer investments. They offer financial advice, investment platforms, multi-asset investment solutions, and discretionary fund management. There is an opportunity for you to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your new role
You will :
Be responsible for all corporate tax reporting and compliance work
Be responsible for other areas such as Senior Accounting Officer compliance, Corporate Interest Restriction and looking to improve corporation tax system processes
Provide or assist the business units with their tax accounting obligations in management and statutory accounts (e.g. current & deferred tax disclosures, tec)
Deal with external auditor queries in relation to tax matters in an efficient and timely manner.
Provide full corporate tax compliance services (incl. preparation of corporation tax computations and associated tax technical analysis)
Provide corporate tax advice to the business units with support from Corporate Tax Business Partner.
Be responsible for ensuring Senior Accounting Officer obligations are met for the year, including liaising with areas of the business to gather the information required.
Prepare the Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) return on a yearly basis, ensuring it meets all tax technical requirements.
