Non Medical Prescriber - Community

Location : Gillingham

Salary : £46,148 - £50,056 per annum

We are looking for a Non-Medical Prescriber - Community to join our Community Drug & Alcohol Services Team.

What you will be doing?

This role is based in the Medway region within the substance misuse service. You would be working as part of a wider healthcare team with a mixture of psychosocial and clinical interventions. There are many opportunities to develop new skills and this role is ideal for nurses seeking to broaden their knowledge and understanding of caring for high-risk adults often with complex needs. We emphasise good collaborative working across teams and encourage learning and development within the team.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate is driven to provide high-quality clinical assessment and treatment to substance-dependent users. You are driven to deliver high standards of nursing care and interventions and demonstrate leadership qualities. You have a flexible and can-do approach to work, invested in providing great care to our clients.

Candidate must have :

  • Active NMC Pin
  • Non Medical Prescriber
  • Experience in Substance Misuse
  • Must be able to attend home visits (must have own vehicle or able to travel to homes and outreach)
  • Driven to provide high quality clinical assessment and treatment
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults presenting complex needs
