Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician

SCINERGY are recruiting for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E,C&I) Technician to join the maintenance team at a gas fired power station in Rochester. In this role, you’ll carry out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance across all EC&I systems to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on EC&I equipment including sensors (pressure, level, temperature, flow), control systems (DCS / PLCs) and electrical plant such as motors and drives.
- Collaborate with fellow Technicians and Engineers to deliver a clear and achievable daily maintenance schedule.
- Support plant improvement projects, modifications and upgrade work across the site.
- Assist with outage and shutdown activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records through the site CMMS.
- Supervise and coordinate contractors when required.
Experience & Qualifications
