Job descriptionYou will be a Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with a solid grounding in Commercial Property work. Ideally you will be expected to have built some quality commercial property experience, however they are more interested in your potential rather than your length of experience and residential property experience would also be useful. If you have a real talent for property work and a history of delivering exceptional client service, then we would really like to hear from you. You will be able to demonstrate a keen intellect with a strong record of academic success. Equally important, you will be commercially astute, organised and pragmatic, with the ability to focus on your clients’ needs to provide practical and robust advice within tight timescales. On behalf of our client we have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join the large and thriving Commercial Property team in Taunton.
The Role
- Working closely with the team’s Partners and Associates, you will assist them on a range of commercial property matters with an emphasis on secured lending work.
- Acting for banks and other lender clients you will advise on a wide range of properties including commercial and residential portfolios, development sites and high value residential properties.
- You will also have opportunities in other areas of commercial property including acting for investors, developers and educational establishments.
- Learning from highly respected Senior Practitioners, you will be able to develop your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and complex work.
- As an expanding team, there are real opportunities for career development as you gain expertise and build your wider skill set.
- You will be supported and encouraged to get involved in business development activities and become embedded into your client sectors.
- It is an integral part of this role that you comply with data security and all firm policies and procedures.
