Team Leader – Learning DisabilitiesScarborough, North YorkshireUp to £30,000 per yearReport to : Registered Area ManagerThis role would be ideal for someone with experience in health and social care within a supervisory position, preferably within learning disabilities or Autism.The purpose of the role is to ensure that the assessed care, developmental and support needs are always fully implemented. To develop positive relationships with everyone involved and creating a homely, welcoming environment for the people my client supports. Proactively working to help people gain more independence by acquiring daily living skills, achieving their forecasted outcomes and matching team members’ expertise to their needs.Key responsibilities : Run monthly Support sessionsConduct monthly team meetingsProviding all staff with the required trainingCompleting staff rotasManaging staff annual leaveCompleting monthly audits (medical, financial)Coaching and role modellingOverseeing development of all staffEnsuring environments meet my client’s high standardEnsuring the people they support lead active and meaningful livesMaintain compliance standards to the expected standardDevelop and maintain great relationships with families and professionalsWork as a senior part of the York District teamReport Safeguarding and incidentsRequirements : Must have a full UK driving license and own carMust be able to trav...
