About the Role

As a Lead Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned maintenance, reactive callouts, and remedial works across a diverse customer base. You'll ensure compliance with British Standards and current legislation, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting the wider engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out service visits, fault finding, and remedial works across fire and security systems.

Communicate effectively with customers regarding service outcomes and next steps.

Maintain van stock to maximise first-time fix rates.

Identify non-conformances and report recommendations for quotations.

Respond to emergency calls within agreed timeframes.

Support and supervise junior engineers when required.

Complete all documentation accurately and in line with company standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in fire and security service engineering.

Strong knowledge of British Standards (e.g. BS5839, SP203) and SSAIB regulations.
