An excellent opportunity is available with our client in the insurance sector. We’re here to connect them with an experienced Claims Handler to join their team. This full-time, permanent role offers office-based or hybrid working options. You will manage a variety of claims, negotiate settlements, and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and brokers on claims and settlements
- Handle claims across Motor / Fleet, Property, and Liability lines within SLAs
- Negotiate settlements with insurers, loss adjusters, and service providers
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
- Maintain accurate claims records and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications
Cert CII or Dip CII (or working towards)Day-to-Day
You will manage claims from start to settlementSupport broker teamsAttend team meetings as requiredMaintain accurate records in claims systemsSkills
Strong knowledge of insurance, risk assessment, and underwritingProficient in Acturis, Microsoft Office, and insurer platformsExcellent communication and relationship managementAbility to mentor junior staffExperience
