Children's Support Worker | Location : Bournemouth, England | Pay : £12.70 - £13.00 per hour (plus £63 per sleep-in shift) | Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting dynamic, caring, and experienced Children's Support Workers to join a dedicated team at a unique 3-bedroom children\'s home in Bournemouth. The home supports children with learning disabilities and is committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment both inside and beyond the home.

Shift Pattern
3-week rolling rota including sleep-insTypical shift : 7 : 00am to 7 : 30am (with sleep-in)One weekend in every three Example rota :Week 1 : 2 days (e.g., Wednesday & Friday)Week 2 : 2 days (e.g., Tuesday & Thursday)Week 3 : 3 days (e.g., Monday, Saturday & Sunday)Key Responsibilities
Act as a corporate parent, providing care and emotional supportAssist with cooking, cleaning, homework, and recreational activitiesSafeguard and promote the welfare of childrenMaintain high standards of documentation and reportingSupport children with appointments and health checksApply therapeutic approaches including the PACE model to support children who have experienced traumaRequirements
Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a support settingFull UK driving licenceNVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferredRight to work in the United Kingdom#J-18808-Ljbffr
