Fashion Designers – Menswear & Womenswear

MacGregor Black is working with a global fashion group on the search for multiple Fashion Designers across menswear and womenswear, based in Manchester. These are hands-on, fast-moving roles designing full collections with clear brand identity and strong consumer relevance.

Responsibilities

• Design commercial, trend-led collections across either menswear (streetwear, smart casual, activewear) or womenswear (partywear, smart casual, trend-led).
• Create detailed CADs, tech packs, and design specs to hand over to development.
• Work closely with buying, merchandising, and production to ensure alignment across fit, margin, and timing.
• React quickly to fast-moving trends, creating capsule drops and repeatable bestsellers.
• Conduct ongoing trend research, competitor analysis, and seasonal forecasting.
• Present collections internally with clear rationale across look, feel, and function.
• Manage multiple briefs simultaneously under tight timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute to brand identity and visual consistency across collections.
