Overview

A fast-growing digital business is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a software squad, blending technical oversight with people management. You’ll be responsible for delivery, coaching developers, and collaborating closely with product teams to ensure high-quality, scalable systems.

Location : Fully Remote (UK-based)

What you’ll be doing

• Lead a software development squad, ensuring smooth delivery and quality output
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define requirements and shape end-to-end solutions
• Organise workloads, track progress, and mitigate risks or delays
• Review code and enforce QA / testing standards with senior developers
• Mentor and line manage engineers, supporting growth and resilience
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams
• Work with architects and senior developers to manage technical debt
• Support hiring and oversee onboarding within your squad
