Overview

Head of Sales – Join a service-led corporate travel leader

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Head of Sales to lead and inspire a small team of Business Development Managers while driving new client acquisition in a high-growth corporate travel environment. This is a hands-on role where you will not only manage and mentor the team but also personally lead on winning new business. The company is renowned for its unwavering focus on exceptional service, setting it apart from other TMCs.

Head of Sales – responsibilities

  • Driving new business acquisition through your own proactive prospecting and high-quality client engagement.
  • Leading, coaching and motivating a small team of Business Development Managers.
  • Attending client meetings, networking events, and industry functions to build strong, long-term relationships.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to shape sales strategy and ensure the company stands out through its exceptional service.
  • Supporting the preparation and delivery of compelling, tailored proposals and presentations.

Head of Sales – qualifications

  • Proven and successful track record in business development within the corporate travel sector.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Highly proactive approach to prospecting and relationship building.
  • Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on with client acquisition.
