Your Role as a Chemistry Teacher

As a Chemistry Teacher , you will :

Teach Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility to teach KS5 if you have experience and interest in A-Level teaching.

Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities.

Lead practical experiments and encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Chemistry curriculum is dynamic, current, and inclusive.

Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, competitions, and educational trips, to enhance students’ learning experiences.

For experienced teachers, there may be opportunities to take on mentoring or leadership roles within the department.
