A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a skilled Automation Service Engineer to support its expanding service division. You’ll play a vital role in delivering 24 / 7 support, troubleshooting, upgrades and small automation projects, ensuring client operations remain efficient and reliable.

We would also welcome applications from professionals within manufacturing, process industries, utilities, energy, and defence.

This role would suit candidates working as Automation Engineer, PLC Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, SCADA Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer or Systems Integrator.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

Diagnose faults on automation systems by working with a range of PLC / PC software tools and programming devices.

Remotely connect to client platforms (PLC / SCADA / PC) to identify and resolve issues on unfamiliar systems in real time.

Carry out system health checks, backups, data recovery and hardware replacements.
