I'm working with a unique, fast-growing food producer who specialise in crafting and packing premium, natural products for well-known brands. They're small, ambitious, and have built a reputation for quality. This isn't your typical food factory role. The team work in a relaxed, rural environment where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail come first. It's hands-on, varied, and there's genuine scope to grow with the business.
About the role
- Leading a small production team (up to 5 people), briefing them each morning and keeping things running smoothly
- Setting up and operating a semi-automated bottling and labelling line (full training provided)
- Troubleshooting small issues, problem solving, and ensuring top-quality products are packaged
- Taking responsibility for food safety paperwork and production checks
- Getting involved in fulfilment for premium brands, from packing web orders to overseeing production runs
- Supporting clean-downs and preparing for the following day's production
