Job Title : Quality Engineer

Location : Dengie, Essex

Salary : Circa £40,000

A leading manufacturing company in Dengie is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support quality across the product lifecycle. You'll work closely with the Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone from a regulated industry (medical, aerospace, automotive, pharma) with a strong understanding of quality systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities

Be the main quality point of contact within Engineering

Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements

Support and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)

Help manage product Technical Files with Regulatory Affairs

Provide quality support across departments

Engage with shop floor teams, including cleanroom environments

Skills & Experience

Engineering or technical qualification

Experience in a regulated industry

Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.)

Practical use of quality tools : FMEA, RCA, CAPA, 8D, 5 Whys, etc.

Experience with CE / UKCA technical documentation

Good communication and organisational skills

Lean Six Sigma knowledge (desirable)

Working Hours

Mon-Thurs : 8 : 30am - 5 : 30pm

Friday : 8 : 30am - 2 : 30pm
