Platform Engineer

Join us as a Platform Engineer at Barclays, where you'll take part in the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. We are on the lookout for ambitious Software Developers who are interested in working on the tools, frameworks, and libraries for other Engineering teams. You'll support a large community of around 4000 engineers, creating progressive technology and patterns to adopt in their work to enable quicker, more efficient, and effective releases of software up to Production, while continuously increasing its quality.

To be successful as a Platform Engineer, you should have substantial experience with :

• Programming - either Python, Golang, or Java.
• Container technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Public Cloud experience - AWS (ideally), Azure.
• Infrastructure Automation - Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible.
