Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher with a talent for bringing History , Geography , and RE to life?

A forward-thinking SEN school in Enfield is looking for a dynamic Humanities Teacher to join their supportive and skilled team this September . The school caters to students aged 7-17 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and related social, emotional, and learning needs.

What You\'ll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging and accessible lessons in History, Geography, and RE across KS2-KS4
  • Adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs and EHCP targets
  • Creating a calm, inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive
  • Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support holistic development
  • Using creativity, patience, and empathy to inspire learners who may have found mainstream education challenging

We\'re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Humanities at KS3 / KS4 (KS2 experience a bonus)
  • A strong understanding or keen interest in Autism and SEN education
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to teaching
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
