An innovative and high-achieving secondary school in Brighton is seeking to appoint a dynamic Design & Technology Teacher to start in January 2026. This permanent, full-time position is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who can inspire students in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or Graphics, and contribute to the school’s commitment to innovation and creativity.

  • Full-time, permanent DT Teacher position starting January 2026

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified DT Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of at least one DT specialism, with the ability to teach across the curriculum
  • Confidence in using CAD / CAM software and maintaining safe workshop practices
  • Track record of delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student achievement
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to extracurricular activities and STEM projects
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Legal right to work in the UK
