South Coast Nursing Homes is a family-owned provider of care across East and West Sussex. Each of the 9 registered homes offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night. We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join the team at Rookwood.

Hourly Rates : Weekdays £12.95 - Weekends £14.25

Hours : 36hrs – Including every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Involved in supporting Care Assistants on shift to ensure the highest delivery of care is provided
• Support with personal care duties and ensure all checks are completed
• Dispensing medication
• Allocate carers and provide supervision and support to new staff
• Provide high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents
• Promote independence and enablement and provide support to residents where necessary
• Develop relationships with relatives to understand their needs and residents\' personal care
