Overview
The Solutions Architect is a commercially driven and technical expert with a track record in Technical Consulting and Pre-Sales in verticals such as Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) or Product Design and Manufacturing (MFG). This role supports Account Managers and Sales professionals to grow new revenue and margin, and delivers paid consulting engagements around BIM, Cloud and related process and technology implementations. The role builds a position of trusted advisor based on expertise and delivery of engagements.
Working with the sales team to grow opportunities in a consultative manner, including pre-sales meetings with customers to identify needs and propose solutions. Solutions may include products, training, process and workflow transformation, and integration in project formats.
Industry knowledge should contribute to Graitec Services positioning in marketing, thought leadership, events and other communication media.
Responsibilities
- Pre-sales : Drive discovery meetings, workflow reviews and business process reviews to unearth opportunities for Graitec. Build proposals for software, services and projects. Advise customers on software choices, system platforms, integrations and connected software. Provide assistance to sales staff during the pre-sales stage.
- Consulting : Manage project delivery from pre-sales handover to closeout. Create scoping documents with timelines, roles and responsibilities. Produce documentation in line with Graitec standards. Assess risks and work with customers to agree and meet milestones. Coordinate with technical delivery teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Keep customers updated and leverage relationships for follow-on opportunities.
- General Company Duties : Support business development, provide regular feedback to R&D, ensure data accuracy and quality, and empower the company with regular reports and forecasts.
What you must have done already (Qualifications)
Extensive experience in BIM, Autodesk AEC / ACS or MFG products and a good understanding of construction or manufacturing industries.4+ years of presales experience with complex software, SaaS and services solutions to B2B customers in CAD, AEC or MFG markets.Experience leading workshops or discovery meetings to identify new business opportunities with existing accounts.Ability to support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Nice to Have
Knowledge of Architecture, Engineering and Construction markets.Experience selling or supporting Autodesk SaaS Solutions.Project management qualification and construction, engineering or related qualifications.Qualifications
