HGV Class 1 Drivers

Job description (HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER WITH A MINIMUM 1 YEAR ON THE ROAD EXPERIENCE)

We are recruiting HGV class 1 drivers for our prestigious automotive client in Minworth, Birmingham.

Trunking-based work (no handball) or collections and trailer swaps (curtain-side)

You may be required to work out of the following locations (optional) :

• Solihull (Damson Parkway) B92
• Erdington B24

Various start times around the clock. Ad-hoc shifts or full weeks available.

Monday to Friday with optional weekends

HGV CLASS 1 Pay Rates :

Days (0600-1800) £15.95 per hour - guaranteed 9 hours per day (8 hrs basic + 1 hr overtime)

Nights (1800-0600) £19.94 per hour - guaranteed 9 hours per day (8 hrs basic + 1 hr overtime)

Overtime Nights (after 8 hrs) - £27.92 per hour

Overtime Days (after 8 hrs) - £23.93 per hour

Saturday Days - £23.93 per hour

Saturday Night / Sunday - £31.90 per hour

Bank Holiday - £31.90 per hour

Paid breaks

9 hours guaranteedper day

Weekly pay

Pay increases after 1 years service

Requirements :

Class 1 licence (UK issued)

Driver CPC (UK issued)

Digicard (UK issued)

MINIMUM 1 YEAR ON THE ROAD EXPERIENCE

HELD LGV LICENCE FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS
