Job description

Our client is currently looking to add a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician to their fantastic team in Swindon.

What they’re offering :

  • Permanent role
  • Basic salary £36,000 - £38,000 (flexible dependant on experience)
  • Overtime available OTE up to £45,000
  • Fantastic company benefits including 33 days annual leave.
  • Company Van and Mobile.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Perform detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers, maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all compliance documentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE.
  • Participate in ongoing product and industry training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW & SAF axle / brake training to continuously develop your expertise.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.

    • Experience & Qualifications Required :

  • Semi-Trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience.
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience.
  • Good technical knowledge servicing and diagnostics.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE.
  • Level 3 or level 2 NVQ or City and Guilds.
  • Full Driving Licence.
