Senior Solicitor (HYBRID)

Senior Solicitor (HYBRID) needed in Wolverhampton, £26.32ph PAYE - Reference : 7200

Provision of legal advice in respect of children and young people and education services

• Undertaking advocacy in all tiers of the Family Court and High Court to include initial hearings, CMHS, FCMH, IRHs, directions hearings and Final Hearings
• Responsible for and progressing own caseload of public child care matters and PLO matters
• Drafting court applications and pleadings
• Preparing and reviewing documents, statements and orders for the purpose of court proceedings
• Liaising with 3rd party agencies to obtain evidence where necessary
• Filing and serving documents
• Undertaking legal research
• Instructing Counsel, drafting briefs and negotiating fees.
• Active involvement in client care and business development
• Able to attend the office twice a week and attend hearings in person
• Length of contract will be 3 months, with the view to be extended.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
