Clinical Systems Manager

Robert Half is seeking an IT Clinical Systems Manager to oversee and enhance its portfolio of clinical applications across oncology, haematology, radiotherapy, diagnostic imaging, and supporting systems (billing, interfaces, third-party integrations). This role is central to ensuring reliable system performance and leading the roll out of clinical systems across an expanding UK network.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert support for clinical applications, working closely with IT, Service Desk, and clinical teams.

Manage system upgrades, new technologies, and integration activities.

Build strong relationships with vendors and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Act as the strategic technology partner to clinical stakeholders.

Lead and deliver key projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Oversee application performance, reduce technical debt, and maintain system roadmaps.

Maintain strong documentation and drive continuous improvement.

About You

Strong background in clinical information systems and healthcare IT.

Experience in system management, vendor engagement, and project delivery.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Computing degree, Microsoft / Citrix / ITIL certifications).

Able to work autonomously and participate in on-call / occasional after-hours work.
