CLASS 1 DRIVERMONDAY - SATURDAY : START TIMES 04.00 - 06.00PAY RATE : £15.71 - £20.88 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Hinckley, Leicestershire .This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.BenefitsAs a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits : Excellent Hourly RatesOngoing WorkWeekly PayOnsite CanteenTraining ProvidedImmediate StartsEmployee Well-being ProgramRates of Pay : Basic : £15.71 per hourOvertime : £20.88 per hour after 48 hoursDay to Day DutiesYour duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to : Two deliveries a day with handball expectedOperate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssist with loaded and unloading of cargo as neededEssential SkillsAs a Class 1 Driver you will need to : Hold a valid UK Category CE LicenceHave a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesHave a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience of multi drop deliveries will be beneficialTrainingDriver's Assessment must be completedAfter successful Assessment, there will be a two-day paid inductionApplyApply today by clicking below
