General Practitioner - Enhanced Access - Monday to Friday 7.5hrs p / w

Hinckley And Bosworth Medical Alliance Ltd

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team working within Enhanced Access.

This advert is for a practitioner to work Monday - Friday 6.30pm - 8pm. Additionality can be offered by working in Enhanced Access on a Saturday, which is between 8am - 5pm.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a thorough understanding of public health principles, anatomy knowledge, and the ability to administer medication effectively.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and lifestyle choices.
Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and public health initiatives.

About us

Hinckley and Bosworth Medical Alliance is a GP Federation that supports 12 GP practices across the Hinckley and Bosworth locality, which form 3 Primary Care Networks. We employ in excess of 45 PCN staff across a number of clinical grades and continue to grow. As a rapidly growing Federation, we have structures in place to ensure that all staff have clinical mentors and are supported in their professional development.

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid registration to practice as a General Practitioner.

Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as proficiency in medication administration.

Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans.

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical best practices.

Pay Rates

This position will attract a salary of up to £13,000 per session.
