Personal Care & Support Assistance Needed
I’m looking for a kind and reliable Personal Assistant to help me live independently at home. I’m a neurodiverse paraplegic with PTSD and chronic pain. I have a stoma and catheter. This role is about being supportive, practical, and organised — experience in care is helpful, but a caring attitude matters most.
What the job involves :
- Making me a morning coffee (drip coffee machine).
- Setting me up with my Functional Electrical Stimulation pads (training provided)
- Reminding me to take my meds and supplements
- Helping me get into the shower
- Helping to check for and keeping an eye on pressure areas
- Cleaning the kitchen, emptying bins, sorting cat litter
- General household chores
- Helping prepare food
- Assisting with shopping
- Accompany to medical appointments
- Assisting with physical therapy
- Keeping track of and ordering resupplies of medical equipment (Stoma and catheter bags, pads etc.)
- Assisting with calendar and appointments management (reminders) as well as cat supplies (food and medicine)
Hours :
Monday : 7am – 11amTuesday–Friday : 7am – 9 : 30amWeekends 8am-10amWhat I’m Looking for :
