General Operative

General Operative Our client in Sittingbourne, is currently looking for a General Operative to join their developing team on a temporary ongoing basis. Please note this is an extremely physical role, where you will be required to lift and manoeuvre stock on a daily basis by hand. Salary and Benefits :

• 14.41 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 05 : 30 - 14 : 00 and 13 : 30 - 22 : 00 (rotating shifts each week with occasional weekend work)
• Sittingbourne, Kent
• 28 days holiday
• Weekly pay
• Full training and PPE is provided The role :
• Working independently as well as within a team
• Adhering to Health and Safety procedures
• Working within the yard directing incoming traffic
• General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock on a daily basis
• Working in an inside / outside environment depending on the section Skills and Attributes required :
• Ability to work in a team and on your own ensuring health & safety compliance
• Good timekeeping / reliable
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to learn on the job skills for progression
