Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
We're working with a leading manufacturing business seeking a proactive and hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background and solid mechanical skills to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
The role is shift-based (4 on 4 off), covering rotating 12-hour shifts including early, late, and peak-period rotations.
Key Responsibilities :
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal machine uptime.
Diagnose faults and breakdowns quickly using strong fault-finding techniques.
Collaborate with production teams to plan downtime for servicing and repairs.
Maintain critical spare parts inventory and manage part orders for maintenance tasks.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S regulations.
Support with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Continuously seek process improvements to minimise downtime and reduce costs.
What We're Looking For :
Time-served engineer with an electrical bias and solid mechanical ability.
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, HNC / ONC, 18th Edition.
Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
Strong awareness and commitment to health and safety practices.
