Hays are recruiting for a skilled and proactive Temporary Accountant to join a dynamic team in Darlington. This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.

• ?? Key Responsibilities :

Preparation and analysis of management accounts

Performing bank and ledger reconciliations

Completing VAT returns accurately and on time

Managing accruals and prepayments

Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Proven experience in a similar accounting role

Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Immediate start with a supportive team
