As the Senior Application and Integration Developer / Software Developer, you will design, build and maintain integrations that connect internal and cloud-based systems, ensuring secure, efficient data flow and automation across the organisation.

The Senior Application and Integration Developer / Software Developer will also support the development of applications using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint, while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Senior Application and Integration Developer / Software Developer include :

Application Development : Build, deploy and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint

System Integration : Design and implement integrations using Microsoft BizTalk Server and APIs

SharePoint Solutions : Customise and extend SharePoint Online for collaboration and document management

Technical Support : Provide support and troubleshooting for applications and integrations

Security and Data Integrity : Ensure systems meet security and data quality standards

Stakeholder Collaboration : Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Team Mentorship : Support and mentor junior developers and placement staff

Documentation Maintenance : Maintain accurate records of system changes and development practices

AI : Utilise Microsoft Copilot to enhance development efficiency and productivity

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

First Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent demonstrable track record

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint

Proven experience of developing applications for the web using object-oriented coding

Experience working within development teams using GIT and integrated development environments

A positive, self-motivated attitude towards learning and development

Desirable

Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in C# .NET

Knowledge of additional web technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development

Experience with mobile platforms, Windows and Linux operating systems

Exposure to large-scale environments with 500+ users, mixed operating systems, VMs and Docker
