Compliance Associate

A great opportunity has come up with a commodities broker in London to work in a hybrid Compliance Monitoring and Advisory role for a circa 9 month contract. They are ideally looking for someone this experience in a compliance monitoring or compliance advisory role with experience of investment banking, brokerage or Trading house. In this role you will work closely with the business, the head of compliance and deputy head are extremely experienced and enjoy being able to help and develop young compliance talent.

Rough role responsibilities (may alter sightly depending on experience)

• Providing day-to-day compliance advice and guidance to business areas
• Design and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures
• Analysis and interpretation of relevant laws and regulations, including identifying changes to these that could affect the business
• Producing reports for senior management on advisory activities
• Assist with investigating and resolving ad hoc queries from regulators and exchanges
• Assisting with the performance of compliance monitoring tasks.
• Performing Risk Assessments as part of the compliance monitoring plan
• Assisting with giving compliance related staff training
