AE Partners are working with a client who specializes in the design and manufacture of specialist systems across the Marine, FPSO, and Drilling & Exploration markets. They have secured a large number of new contracts spread across Asia and are looking for a Project Manager to deliver portfolios ranging from £500k - £10m throughout their full life cycle from design to commissioning stages. While the role is based in Cramlington, it will involve an element of travel to client sites in Asia, so ideally, you would need to be prepared to travel.
Roles and responsibilities
- Develop Schedules : Create and manage realistic timelines, setting deadlines for tasks and milestones.
- Estimate Costs & Budget : Prepare and manage project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Resource Planning : Identify and allocate necessary resources, including people, equipment, and materials, for the project.
- Lead Project Teams : Assemble and guide the project team, fostering collaboration and motivating members to achieve targets.
- Stakeholder Communication : Keep key stakeholders, clients, and senior management informed about project progress, challenges, and successes.
Must Have
Mechanical Bias (Ideally Degree Qualified)Project Management Qualifications and / or 5 – 10 years’ experience managing projects in the offshore, heavy industrial, structural, or marine sector.Commercial and contractual knowledgeExperience delivering full lifecycle projects from design, through build, install and commissioning
