Job Title : Social Worker H&P Aylesbury – Locality Team North

Location : Buckinghamshire Council

Rate : Up to £22.80 per hour

An exciting job role has recently become available at the Buckinghamshire Council. They are looking for a new member for their Locality Team North.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will deliver targeted and specialist social work services for children and young people in need of support, protection, and care. You will clarify eligibility and undertake statutory social work assessments in line with agreed local thresholds, analysing children and young people’s needs, risks, and circumstances, and confirming existing parenting skills and any capacity to change, as necessary and appropriate. You will always promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, championing their rights and entitlements to improve their life chances and overall outcomes. You will have the ability to assess, evaluate, plan, and review needs, risks, and circumstances. Additionally, you will communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate proficiency with ICT systems, such as case recording, calendar appointments, and emails.

Qualifications and Experiences :

To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK license, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
