HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Mon to Fri Nights – March (Dedicated Fleet)

We are currently looking to hire:

• Mon to Fri Nights (Start Time c. 16:00)

** Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience **

Preferred Experience:

• Curtainside Trailers
• General Haulage
• Ratchet Strapping

** You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card) **

Role involves:

• Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
• Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

Rates:

Nights

• £155.35 per shift (10 hours) – Weekdays
• £166.32 per shift (10 hours) – Saturdays
• £158.15 per shift (10 hours) – Sundays
• Enhanced Rates after 10 hours: £17.60 per hour
• up to £5 per Day Meal Allowance (Tax Free)

Estimated Annual Gross Earnings:

• Monday to Friday Nights: c. £41,600 + Bonuses

• SAFED Fuel Bonus (up to £4.50 per shift)
