Post Details: A vacancy has arisen for 2 part‑time Housekeepers within The State Hospital. Your duties will include general cleaning of wards and departments, maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the Hospital in line with the NHS Scotland Cleaning Services Specification, and fulfilling Health Care Environmental Inspectorate Standards and Facilities Monitoring Tool Targets.

From 1 April 2026, the NHS Agenda for Change working week for full‑time staff will reduce from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time staff will receive a pro‑rata reduction with no loss of earnings. The State Hospital will implement this change as soon as it is safe and practical. If a department cannot accommodate the reduced hours, staff may be required to continue working 37.5 hours per week until adjustments can be made.
