Job Title : Team Leader

Location : Peterborough

Hourly Rate : £14.75 hourly rate - £70.50 for sleep-ins

Hours : 40 hours per week (3 shifts a week & 1 sleep-in)

Purpose of the Role

To join a committed residential care team supporting young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The Team Leader plays a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social development of young people at The Banyan Tree , helping them thrive in a safe, supportive, and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within the residential team to uphold safe, effective care practices at all times.
• Support the Home Manager in all operational aspects of the home, ensuring care standards align with its aims and objectives.
• Foster a warm, secure, and nurturing environment, participating in the daily organisation and planning of the home.
• Maintain accurate records for each young person, support care plan implementation, and contribute to written reports and documentation.
