Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, visionary, and results-driven Head of Property Management to lead and scale Dwelly’s Property Management function across the entire portfolio of acquired agencies. This senior leadership role involves building and managing the central team of Property Managers, driving operational excellence, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service across all properties. The successful candidate will combine deep operational expertise with strong leadership skills, setting the standard for Property Management at Dwelly while shaping its long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the overall strategy for Property Management across Dwelly.
- Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing team of Property Managers (UK-based and remote) to deliver exceptional service to landlords and tenants.
- Set and monitor KPIs to ensure operational excellence, targeting 700–1000 properties per Property Manager within 12 months.
- Drive continuous improvement, challenging industry norms to reduce tenant request resolution times dramatically (well below the industry average of 40+ days).
Operational Excellence & Process Development
Establish scalable processes, training frameworks, and best practices for Property Management teams.Ensure compliance with UK regulations and industry standards across all managed properties.Partner with cross-functional leaders (Product, Operations, Finance, etc.) to align Property Management with Dwelly’s growth objectives.Product Collaboration
Oversee the adoption and integration of new product features into Property Management workflows.Act as the voice of the Property Management team, gathering structured feedback to influence product development.Maintenance Network Development
Build and expand a robust network of trusted, cost-efficient local Maintenance Providers.Develop training materials and processes to ensure providers operate to Dwelly’s SLAs and standards.Drive additional revenue streams through Contractor Commissions while maintaining service quality.Qualifications :
Experience : 8+ years in Property Management, Operations, or related leadership roles, ideally within fast-scaling or tech-enabled businesses. Demonstrated track record of leading and scaling large teams.Skills : Strong leadership presence, exceptional organisational and analytical skills, ability to build scalable processes, and excellent stakeholder management.Background : Experience in operational tech businesses or scaling property / asset management functions. Prior consulting background (Manager / Senior level) is a plus.Growth Potential
This is one of Dwelly’s key leadership roles. Over the next 2–3 years, the Head of Property Management will lead and scale a large team managing thousands of properties across the UK. You’ll play a central role in shaping how Dwelly delivers its core service, improving quality for landlords and tenants, and setting new standards in the industry.
