About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor’s to work in secondary school’s across Wythenshawe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on students' education while gaining valuable experience in a school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes when teachers are absent, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This role is ideal for graduates, career changers, or those considering a future in teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across all key stages (KS3 and KS4) in the absence of subject teachers
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour
• Support students with their learning and answer questions where appropriate
• Take accurate registers and report any concerns to relevant staff
• Assist with general school duties as required
• Follow school policies and procedures at all times
