Job SummaryHelping to identify and win profitable work for the GRAHAM business, the Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a lead role in finding new project opportunities suitable for the civil engineering business across a number of Engineering sectors, including Highways, Bridges, Maritime, Nuclear & Defence.
The role will comprise the discovery and development of leads and opportunities using all effective means; updating the Customer Relations Management database with the same and presenting the leads to the Pre-Construction Team as required and during regular meetings.
The BDM will work closely with Contract Directors and the pre-construction team to assist in managing the processes designed to capture and respond to client requirements such as meetings, Expressions of Interest, Prequalification and Invitation to Tender administration.
The role requires excellent communication and networking skills and the BDM will be expected to meet with the Client where possible and appropriate, maintaining a working relationship based on trust and integrity.
