Applications Engineering Manager (Specialist Commercial Vehicles)

Overview

Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a well-established supplier of truck mounted cranes and other equipment looking to onboard a new Applications Engineering Manager within their Manchester office, to lead the Applications Engineering team. Responsibilities

• Developing application engineering tasks and resources across the UK
• Providing technical support to internal sales teams, customers, product managers and product specialists
• Working with R&D engineering teams to promote continuous product improvement and yearly model upgrades
• Defining and executing training for trainers, product managers and customers
• Coaching operational staff to maximize output of specific products

Requirements

The company prefer an individual with experience within the Specialist Commercial Vehicles industry. However, this isn’t essential; they would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in commercial vehicles or automotive.

Location

In terms of location, you will ideally be based within commutable distance Manchester.
