Your new role
We're seeking a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our Welfare Supplement Payment Team in a niche, long-term role focused on debt reconciliation, stakeholder liaison, and financial accuracy.This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently with minimal supervision, has strong Excel skills, and is confident in managing complex manual debt ledgers. You'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple accounts and supporting wider reporting and audit activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Salary : £24.04 p / h £41,272 annually.
Key Responsibilities :
Preparation and posting of monthly journals to maintain the accuracy of multiple debt balances
Reconciliation and maintenance of multiple manual debt ledgers
Liaison with relevant stakeholders to investigate and clearly reconcile items.
Reconciliation of general ledger account codes and balance sheet reconciliations
Provide financial information as input for Annual Report and Accounts
General accountancy duties to support the production of the Work & Health and Operational Delivery Group Resource Accounts and audit activitiesWhat We're Looking For :
