Overview

Mechanical Technician : Join a leading defence organisation as a Live Build Manufacturing Technician, supporting the assembly, inspection, and certification of complex products within a high-integrity manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing, inspection, and test tasks in line with certification procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality.
  • Use a wide range of tools, gauges, and measuring instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing and safety procedures.
  • Complete and verify manufacturing documentation.
  • Share best practices and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship or vocational qualification (e.g., NVQ3, BTEC ONC / HNC).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or mechanical fitting / maintenance role.

  • Rates of £29.70ph via umbrella
  • 12 month inside IR35 contract
  • Onsite 5 days a week at Henlow build site
  • Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance
