Responsibilities

Chemistry is taught as a standalone subject from Year 7 onwards. The post-holder will be required to teach across the school. The ability to work successfully as a member of an enthusiastic and proactive team, with an energetic and willing approach, is essential. Candidates should be able to teach up to and including GCSE and A Level. Experience of teaching the IB Diploma Programme, and / or experience of supporting applications to competitive university courses, would be desirable. We currently teach Edexcel Chemistry at A Level and Edexcel IGCSE at GCSE. All staff are expected to contribute to the thriving extra-curricular programme on offer at the School.

Salary and Accommodation

The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience. Accommodation may be available for new staff in a local six-unit property.
