Main Purpose of the Role

Early Childhood Practitioner (Fixed Term until 16 August 2026)

£21,900 - £23,454 (30 Hours per week, Term-time only)

Crieff Primary School

We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and innovative Early Childhood Practitioner to join our welcoming team within our Primary 1 class. This placement is at Crieff Primary, on a fixed term basis until August 2026.

Our aim at Crieff Primary, is to provide child-centred early learning through a play based environment. Within this role, the ECP would be central to supporting the play through learning approach.

Ability to work in a team situation is essential and a flexible approach to working with young children and parents is required.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will already hold an appropriate qualification eg. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF Level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People). You should also have the eligibility to register with SSSC.

This role requires you to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) , if you are not yet registered, you can still apply, as long as you are willing to apply for registration within 3 months of starting with us and be registered within 6 months.
