Salary :                               £14 per hour

Shifts :                                4 on / 4 off, rotating days / nights

I am looking for a Print Operator to work in a factory environment assisting the Print Manager with ensuring the Print Department is operating to its maximum efficiency to produce high quality products in a safe environment.

The Main responsibilities of this role are outlined below :

Check the production plan and set up and operate the printing press according to job specifications, running the main press to optimum levels driving performance and output.

Understand technical requirements specific to print quality and artwork guidance

Understand and alter colours as required

Load substrates and inks, adjusting the press setting for tension, speed, colour registration etc.

To keep optimum quality throughout on all machines whilst adhering to the works order specification sheets

Inspect printed output for colour accuracy, print clarity and overall quality, adjusting as necessary.
