Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG environment ? Do you have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance , and thrive in a setting where minimising downtime is critical?

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food & drink manufacturer in Corby , operating at the heart of the UK's supply chain. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that is heavily investing in new technology, automation, and people.

The Role :

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that production machinery and equipment run smoothly and efficiently, performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) as well as attending reactive breakdowns across site.

Key Responsibilities :

Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a variety of production equipment (conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, pumps, etc.)

Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment efficiently to reduce downtime

Supporting with continuous improvement projects and machine upgrades

Conducting routine inspections and adhering to safety and hygiene standards

Working with PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens / Allen Bradley beneficial)

✅ What We're Looking For :

Time-served or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)

Proven experience in a FMCG , food manufacturing , or automated production environment

Strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical systems

Familiarity with PLCs, variable speed drives, sensors, and automated machinery

Ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern , rotating between days and nights

Salary : £47,000 - £53,000 (dependent on experience)

4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts, days & nights)
