7.5 Tone Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the Dartford area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours : Monday to Friday - 10am start

Pay Rate : £16.63 per hour.

Location : Dartford

Job Type : Ongoing

The role :

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne delivery vehicle to make scheduled deliveries and collections for customers, which means there will be a lot of manual handling involved.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to complete around 40-45 drops / collections per day, considering traffic, road conditions, and time constraints.
• Assist with loading and unloading packages onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers during deliveries and collections.
• Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery.
• Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation for each delivery and collection accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic and safety regulations, including securing loads and wearing appropriate safety gear.
• Communicate effectively with despatch, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on delivery progress and potential delays.
